Time Warp 80s is a fully immersive 80s/early 90s experience where every single detail has been obsessed over — the vintage dish strainer, the era-correct coffee maker and waffle iron, the Kool-Aid pitcher, the junk drawer, the windbreakers and track suits hanging in the closets. There's an entire VHS rental store. A tiny Scholastic book fair stocked with your favorite books from childhood. Even a pair of egg-shaped pantyhose waiting to be discovered. Every room, every cabinet, every corner is the real thing.

And hidden inside all of it is a full whole-house escape room.

The escape room: You've found an old box in the attic. You watch a family video — and suddenly you're pulled back into a blur of childhood memories. A dozen puzzles stand between you and the present. It takes anywhere from 1 to 5 hours depending on how deep you want to go, and there's an online clue system if you need a nudge. Nobody leaves without finishing.

Sleeping arrangements:

• 1 queen bedroom

• 1 bunk room with two full beds plus a twin trundle (yes, adults fight over the top bunk — it happens regularly)

The space: A quiet, safe neighborhood with a fully fenced yard, fire pit, rear deck, and propane grill. One full bathroom. Fast WiFi, off-street parking, and self check-in. Pets welcome with a fee.

The New River Gorge Bridge, Ace Adventure Park, and downtown Fayetteville are 10 minutes away. All the rafting companies within 15, most trails within 30.

Good to know: The furnishings took serious time and love to collect — please treat them gently. But they are absolutly meant to be played with!
